Brookfield Zoo Newspaper Campaigns

A lot of pro bono accounts are dream accounts, but Brookfield Zoo was a breed apart. The clients were incredibly appreciative and trusting, allowing our creative team to have a lot of fun. This campaign was created to promote some of the more unusual residents in the zoo’s established exhibits, rather than showcasing more commonly known species. Next up on the list was the Naked Mole Rat. This campaign definitely had legs.

This teaser ad announcing the imminent opening of the zoo’s new Habitat Africa exhibit ran first. You could say it graphically captured the state of events at the zoo and how it was about to change in a wild way. It was followed by the three other ads shown below.

Brookfield Zoo :60 Radio Spot

Described as “theater of the mind,” radio affords a writer amazing freedom. This fanciful family-focused spot memorably brought the sights and sounds of the African Savannah to life.
